Vivion’s portfolio in Germany provides investors with access to arguably the strongest property market in the wealthiest economy in Europe. The German assets mainly comprise office or office-led properties located in the top echelon of major German cities. These locations include Tier 1 cities Berlin, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt and Munich. Vivion has 45 properties in the German market. Völklinger Strasse is a spectacular building in an outstanding location in one of Germany’s top cities. Its acquisition offered Vivion the opportunity to reposition the asset while it remained income producing and, following a programme of active management, Vivion has significantly increased the annual rent income and boosted the capital value.

Vivion’s UK portfolio comprises 53 assets, over 45% of which are located in Greater London. These assets provide over 8,000 rooms and are branded by many well-known hotel brands including Hilton, Holiday Inn, Crown Plaza and Best Western. What makes the portfolio unique is the security of the income it generates, with an average lease length of over 13 years, and the fact that it is 100% let.
The hotels that Vivion acquired in the UK are some of the best in the country, regardless of whether they target business visitors or the leisure/tourism market, or a mix of the two. The Sanderson, London
Vivion’s acquisition of the Sanderson hotel on Berners Street, adds another stylish and highly accessible asset to the London portfolio. Close to tube stations at Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street, the 150-guest room Sanderson was constructed as offices in 1958 but in 2000 was converted to a hotel following plans by French designer Philippe Starck.
